Tansord does not have standalone pronouns, instead pronouns act as suffixes attached to the end of specific roots.

These suffixes are as follows:

  • -(i)j: First-person singular
  • -(i)n: First-person plural, inclusive (includes those being addressed)
  • -(i)hin: First-person plural, inclusive (includes those being addressed)
  • -(i)x: Second-person singular
  • -(i)k: Second-person plural
  • -(i)s: Third-person singular
  • -(i)l: Third-person plural
  • -(i)z: Fourth person or impersonal

the -(i) is not included if the root ends in a vowel. The subject pronouns are equivalent to the Momentaneous present simple active (the default form for all verbs) form of the verb "to be" (which in Tansord is "Hi.") All verbs end in -i (which can be part of the root itself, or can be added as a suffix, with -ti being added if the root ends in a vowel other than -i). The final -i is removed, and for the present tense replaced with -e, for the past tense replaced with -o, and for the future tense replaced with -a. Then the pronoun suffix is added (Hej, hen, hehin, etc.) It should also be noted that replacing the final -i with -u is how you turn the root into an adverb.

For oblique pronouns (object, not vocative), the suffix is added to the root Li (Lis, lil, liz, etc). For vocative pronouns, the suffix is added to the root "Liye" (Liyek, Liyex, etc).

For posessive pronouns (which goes after the noun), the root "De" (meaning of)" is used (Dej, den, dehin, etc).

They can also be added to other roots (Bir, for the sake of -> Birij, for my sake. Kol, all, Kolin, all of us.)
